Atelier Sukha
Sometimes you step into a place that feels like home immediately. Concept store Atelier Sukha in Amsterdam for me is one of them. It has that magical combination of different things: the calm, serene atmosphere, the friendly people with their soft approach and the carefully curated collection of fashion and (home) accessories. This place located in a buzzing shopping street always slows me down, but also inspires and energizes me in many ways.Atelier Sukha invited me to photograph their newest knitwear collection which they designed together with The Knitwit Stable and Fant Projects. Some words by Atelier Sukha about how this co-creation started: 'We found common ground in our love for wool, craftsmanship, and collaboration. Together we created two woolen cardigans, Soof and Sophie. Made of 100% local Dutch wool with a lining of 100% soft and comfy Belgian linen. The Knitwit Stable wants to restore Dutch wool's reputation as a fantastically versatile and renewable material. Fant Projects and Atelier Sukha absolutely love this dream of Reina, founder of Knitwit, and jumped on the train with her to create these beautiful comfy cardigans.'
In store and on the website of Atelier Sukha you can find the knitwear in great company of some of my favorite brands like Skall, Pomandère, Lingua Planta Perfumes, Eva Schreuder Jewelry and Orris Soap.Client @ateliersukha
