A Slow Escape to Morocco

A Slow Escape to Morocco in January to celebrate my dear friend Lisa's 50th birthday. We stayed at a hidden gem called Le Hameau des Cascades, nestled near Essaouira. Along with eight other friends, we spent a serene week soaking up the sun and exploring the stunning surroundings of Sidi Mbarek.

We shared memorable moments, like baking bread with a local family, spending hours by the sea watching surfers ride immense waves, and wandering through the medina of Essaouira, where vibrant colors of fabrics, fruits, and spices captivated the senses. The week was filled with a wonderful group of friends, sharing meaningful conversations and enjoying the finest local foods.
